Tech consulting vs MBB

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working at Accenture and involved in a FinOps-related project, which is really sparking my interest in this area of digital transformation. Given the strong demand for FinOps skills right now, I’m wondering:

Does it make sense to specialize deeply in FinOps from a career perspective? Or would it be better to stay more high-level and strategic to maximize long-term opportunities and salary potential?

Just to give some context, I’ve recently graduated from a top-tier university, and consulting has always been my dream career path. I’ve been strongly oriented toward MBB, but currently I’m really enjoying my experience at Accenture.

I’d really appreciate your insights on this!
