Thoughts on EY Technology Advisory (Non-FSO) Internship/FT?

Hi everybody,

I'm looking for more information/advice on EY TAP. I've referenced the search and there is some outdated information. It would be amazing if anyone here has experience with the program or knows somebody that does.

  1. Is the work under TAP more high-level advisory work or implementation?
  2. What are the differences in offices (East v. West Coast)
  3. What kind of projects happen in Non-FSO?
  4. What is the reputation of the program?
  5. Does TAP fall under the PI division at EY, or is it separate?

Any other general comments are fine too. Thanks!

  1. Depends what you're staffed on, can be both. Implementation projects can be really tough because each week for a significant time period (>1 year) you're traveling to the same location doing the same things over again.
  2. Can't really comment on differences in office culture. However, EY tries to staff regionally before looking around nationally.
  3. Can't really comment on this, however, I would say that many people in FSO would rather be non FSO. FSO has a large amount of reg and implementation work that can be very dull
  4. Reputation is still solid, not as good as other big 4 I'd say (PwC & Deloitte) and firms like ACN & MBB. But definitely still good
  5. TAP technically falls under PI. The organization tree is pretty complicated and PI encompasses projects across a pretty broad spectrum.
