What's the Culture at A&M Like?
Title. Just curious on if the culture is good / bad. Any day in the life examples would be good. Know there are different groups, so insight into any group would be nice

Career Resources
For the non-billable hour based groups, collaborative. Peope are nice, the hours are long, yes, but the people make it manageable. Comp is great. Benefits are ok. Nothing outstandingly negative to say.
For the billable hour based groups (PEPI, NACR), mercenary. Stems from the eat what you kill structure. But I've seen that people in these groups are much nicer than anywhere else. Partly due to the fact that they've mostly joined the firm with experience from other firms, so less of a chip on the shoulder. These groups generally try to minimize useless, non value additive work, so you'll mostly be working on actually useful stuff. Plenty of threads on here talking about how extremely high the comp can get, and the downsides to this comp model, so won't delve into that.
Overall a good firm.

Why?
Hours are awful, extremely high skill curve, overall just very sweaty. I find myself working longer than my peers in IB sometimes.
