Age Limit for Finance Rotation?

I am about to enter a Top 15 full-time MBA program at 32 years old. Are corporate finance rotations at F500 companies available at someone my age? I'm not coming from a finance background (background in retail).

I don't see why not... you'll be applying to MBA rotational programs, there will likely be people in their late 20s and early 30s. You also come in at the Senior FA or Manager level. I guess it just depends on the company and what they're looking for. I have no doubt that a lot of them won't care if you're the best candidate.

congrats on the program i think that while you are a little on the old side, it shouldn't be too much of a problem after all it's not like theres a disclaimer on your age

.

Yes, they definitely are. I'm at a F100 firm with a highly competitive finance rotation program. I see people from 21-40 in different rotational roles that scale them up a level for every rotation. You aren't too late. Congrats on the program!

yes. i personally know guys who have come out of the army to do it so they're around 28/29

Remember, once you're inside you're on your own. Oh, you mean I can't count on you? No. Good!
