Amazon Financial Analyst Internship

I am currently looking for internships and have been interested in breaking into the Tech industry. Has anyone gone through the Amazon Finance Internship program? What percentage of interns are offered full time positions? How is the recruiting process? Any general insights into working at Amazon?

Thank you!

I've heard the all in comp is pretty sick.

Edit: should note that my comment is for FT

Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in the first half hour at the table, then you are the sucker.

I've done this internship. Its a great place to learn and you get a ton of responsibility. Unfortunately, they are hiring so many people that they can't afford to be very selective with the positions available, and there are people who have had negative experiences due to lack of support from their team/manager.

Contrary to what was said above, compensation was pretty terrible, and when I was in the program, full-time offers were only given to about 10-15% of the interns (there is a class of around 45 FA interns every quarter rotating for 6 months each. Administration told us to consider the internship an educational experience and not a road to full time jobs. Ultimately, I decided to go with a different company for my subsequent internship.

If you're looking for a great learning experience, the FA internship is absolutely fantastic...but if you're looking for a full-time job, I'm not inclined to think this is the best place to end up. Happy to answer any questions you might have.

In regards to a full time offer, I can say the base is decent (better than average), but the real value comes in the form of stock. Keep in mind, you can't get it all out until year 5, so it takes some time to build the stock, which in essence is your bonus.

Can't comment on the internship though. They have some really great people working for them.
