AVP at Citi - ICG FRM group prestige?

AVP at Citi in NYC vs. Sr BA at Capital One

If anyone works at Citi Id love your insight😭

Im currently a sr.BA working toward business manager (id say within next 5mo or 12mo). A recruiter reached out to me for an AVP role at Citi for their ICG-FRM group in NYC. (Financial Resource Management group within Institutional Client Group). It says its front office role but they do liquidity/capital ratio management for ICG.

Im unsure if its a lateral move or even possibly demoting myself. From what I recall from recruiter call, their base is similar to what a business manager would make (but I might have asked for a lower range) but it will be in NYC vs Northern VA so its almost less?

Id love any insight, plus how much I should be asking. Thanks a ton!!
