I'm trying to compile a list of companies that are good places to work in the realm of corporate finance. Reasons being good environment, compensation,job opportunities, quality of work, management, growth opportunities, etc. I'm trying to figure out the top companies to work for in corporate finance.

I've heard good things about Amazon
J&J..................several friends work there and its pretty sweet benefits and chances to move up the ladder.
Add GE Cap to the list -- FMP if you're looking at entry level positions (and aren't out of school for too long).

Not sure what industry, but I'm definitely interested in Corporate Development and FP&A to some extend. Like strategy and planning.

Any good rotational program such as GE, UTX, Microsoft, J&J, Lockheed or treasury/ corp dev groups at Exxon, Chevron, Disney, Google will get you places.

Just to clarify guys. I'm going into a rotational program at a F500 company. Just trying to get a sense of the best of the best in a sense. I'm already looking ahead to going to get my MBA and maybe moving up so to speak. Disney would be awesome.
Many companies are their which pay huge amount to employees like google , jp morgan bank etc.
Most of the tech companies (they're going to be the highest pay, too): Google, Intel, Microsoft, Amazon
I did a SA position with Siemens Industry, and they are a great company that really takes care of their employees, and you will be compensated competitively but more that some companies such as J&J.
Quickset Finance Group, LLC in Florida has a decent benefits package.

What are the best corporate finance careers? Is there a particular company that stands out from the rest?
At the post-MBA level, exxon treasury is up the. They take very few students (10) each year and only recruit from the top schools.
In the health care industry: business development, treasury, and sales/marketing finance shine above all else.
This is a pretty obvious answer. Just think of which companies are the best. Obviously start with the top Fortune 100 companies..
Best field is probably corp dev or corporate strategy and product management. Best firm would probably be any tech company ( the google, apple, microsoft, etc. of the world) or a growth firm with stock options. Internal consulting teams are probably up there too.
IMO, any top Fortune10 company, along with any tech companies outside of the top 10, as listed above.
any advice on how to network into corp fin jobs? do HR have the power? do more senior analysts have power? etc im guessing its a little diff than banking?
and what pays the most? im assuming treasury will pay more than tax or fp&a. any since when is prod mang part of corp fin?
Networking into corp fin is similar to investment banking, but will not involve the same amount of time and overall effort. The best way to network is to attend career fairs at school, corporate presentations, and campus visits. Always ask for a business card and follow up with questions after you've met the individual.
Compensation in corp fin is the same for all incoming new hires. You could negotiate a higher starting salary, but the number is basically fixed. Once you begin working, you may ask for a raise; however, you will most likely have performance reviews every six months at which point your manager will make the decision on whether to give you a raise.
