Corp Dev Compensation expectations
Hello, I am looking for some advice on compensation for a associate/sr associate/manager corp dev role. Large private firm backed by large investment firm. I currently work for the firm, but will be relocating to a HCOL city from a different country. We close between 5-10 deals a year varying in size for $1M-$15M of EBITDA. I've been with the firm for 4 years and prior to that I had 3 years of work experience in the industry. I'm trying to get a sense of what kind of compensation I should expect and what I can potentially negotiate for. I believe I'm currently underpaid based on location and my role, so I'm hoping to use this relocation as an opportunity to get my compensation in line with market comp. Appreciate any answers or insights.

We need way more info like industry, team size, what does your modeling consist of, what’s the bonus %, how big is the company, etc.
At first glance, a MCOL PE port. Co that I assume is operating a roll up strategy based on your deal size likely would pay analysts 70k, associate maybe 90k and managers 110+ with bonuses varying from 20 - 40% of total comp.
But with the limited information it’s really hard to tell.
