European MBA vs American MBA

For context, I’m in corp IB, potentially looking to switch careers ( thinking on investor relations which I don’t have relatable experience for) In order to do so, MBA is one of the routes, my BS is international too but I am now an American looking to keep my career within the finance industry in New York. Would I have disadvantages if I do my MBA internationally, given my bachelors is also from another country? Does it matter?
