Salary For Post-MBA In Corporate Finance (Bay Area)
Hello all - Incoming student at a Top 10 MBA program and I'm interested in a career in corporate finance specifically in the Bay Area, possibly for a tech, healthcare or pharma company.
Question: What is the starting salary for recent MBA grads in corporate finance roles in the tech/HC/pharma sector?
Previous background: 2 years @ Big 4 TAS (covered both corporate finance and RE) followed by 3 years in REPE

Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
I would suggest checking out Transparent Career as they have some pretty accurate salary information from the past 5-7 years for large, well-known firms. To give you an idea, Google hires MBAs at the Senior Financial Analyst at around $140-$150k base. TC is even higher when you factor in sign-on bonus, relocation, potential performance bonus, etc. It looks like Genentech starts you out at north of $140k/year as well. These are among two of the highest that I could find, though, so I wouldn't take it as anywhere indicative of the norm.
