Sr. Financial Analyst Interview Help

I’m a senior auditor at big 4 and I’m seeking corporate PF&A opportunities. I just got an interview opportunity with a software company for Sr. financial analyst position. The job description says “Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analyzing, and managing opex and capex”. But, you know, as an auditor, I don’t really do budgeting and forecasting. I do a lot of analytics for our testing but I don’t know if those are similar with what a corporate FP&A does. So I’m a little worried about technical questions that they will ask. Anyone who have related experience, if you could help me with the following, it will be greatly appreciated!!! I just need a little direction that I can focus my interview preparation effort towards.. (1) What you normally do for budgeting, forecasting and analyzing? Just want to get a general idea of how the process looks like. Just so I don’t sound like an idiot in the interview…. (2) What kind of budgeting and forecasting models/methods/techniques that are normally used and that I should study before I go to the interview? (like….i’m sure I learned most of them in school....i just need to refresh my memories…..and I’m willing to study anything for this interview) (3) Any other materials or knowledge I should prepare? Many many thanks!!!!!!!!!
