In-Person Private Credit Meetup

EDIT: Please DM me for exact meeting location, time, agenda/discussion points and logistics.

Hi guys, I'm trying to start a private credit discussion group in-person in midtown Manhattan.  It meets Thursday after work (near 50th street and 5th ave).

This is meant for people already in the industry. I don't envision it to be for "networking", but more like a discussion group where we can learn stuff and improve our knowledge.

Basically, in my personal life, I've witnessed the power of communities/people who have "organized" / banded together to mostly swap knowledge, and it's worked out pretty well for them. So I figured...why not with my industry.

For example, a discussion group for a given week could be: how has originations generally worked in your career (without referencing specific firms, specific deals or names, or anything confidential that could get you in trouble)? Where do the deals generally come from, how involved are the originations guys in the underwriting process, etc.

A little bit about me.... I work as a portfolio manager at a $8 billion independent private credit fund and I have about 10 YOE.
