Infrastructure Debt Prospects out of Undergrad

What are the prospects like for someone joining an infrastructure debt team at a MF right out of UG as an analyst? Specifically interested in potential comp/hours/outlook. Do not feel super strong about having to do banking right out of school, but I am also concerned I could be siloed and making somewhat significantly less than my peers doing IB for relatively similar hours. Am I overthinking this?

Would you say a non-advisable silo relative to comp/career trajectory? For context, I am at a target school and believe I could find my way to a FT IB role if I didn't like my summer.
