Mezzanine Financing Outlook in 2025 and Recruiting Questions

Hi all,

I have not seen many new posts on Mezzanine Financing and have a few questions on the strategy.

  1. What is the outlook in 2025 and beyond?
  2. Who are the top players and groups (MF, MM, and LMM groups please)
  3. How does the lifestyle and comp compare to PE and PC?
  4. How do groups compare with opportunistic and special situations groups? Are the investments hairier or just typically partnered with DL deals?
  5. How should one recruit for it? Focus on PE materials, credit material, or both? Would the WSO PE course be enough?

Thanks in advance.
