Most Rigorous Credit Hedge Funds?

I’m curious as to which credits funds, in particular those who trade in the public markets (primary or secondary, performing or distressed) have a reputation for employing a rigorous/deep fundamental research process.

In other words, if you were starting over as an analyst in the industry where/who would you want to learn from?

I understand this is tough to answer as a lot of process is strategy driven and distressed tends to be more involved than performing but just looking for a high-level view here.
