Prudential Credit Research Investment Analyst FT - 2023

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has heard back for the Prudential Credit Research Investment Analyst role. Here is the description:

We are hiring for 2 separate Fixed Income programs through this posting. By applying to this role you have the opportunity to be considered for both of these Analyst Programs. If you ultimately have a preference for 1 over the other, you are able to share your preferences during the application. You will have the opportunity to select: 1. Please share me with both groups, 2. Credit Research only, 3. Portfolio Analysis Group only.

Credit Research Investment Analyst: The Credit Research Investment Analyst works closely with a senior research analyst who together partner with a portfolio manager to invest client funds across portfolios. The analyst will perform fundamental investment analysis with a goal of assessing value within capital structures and across industry sectors in order to identify investments that will generate superior returns for our clients. . Responsibilities include industry data collection and trend analysis, financial statement analysis, financial modeling and forecasting, assessment of business and financial strategy, and monitoring market movements through daily meetings with portfolio managers, economists, and strategists. Credit Research Investment Analysts have regular interaction with the management of issuing companies, industry consultants and specialists, and Wall Street counterparts. The role offers the opportunity for increasing responsibility as the Analyst’s experience and confidence grows.

Portfolio Analysis Rotational Analyst: The Analyst in the Portfolio Analysis Group (PAG) evaluates portfolio positioning with respect to risk exposures and alpha objectives, provides portfolio construction and alignment insight, and analyzes performance drivers across a multitude of investment products and processes to deliver performance attribution. Utilizing a variety of analytical tools, the analyst integrates specific client guidelines, objectives, and risk tolerances into the firm’s investment process to ensure complete portfolio management and analytics are in place. The analyst collaborates and works closely with other teams, including Senior PAG Analysts, Portfolio Managers, Traders, Risk Managers, the Quantitative Team, Credit Research, Client Advisory, and Sales and Marketing. The analyst also navigates multiple ad hoc requests and projects that relate to market or portfolio analytics received from all parts of the larger Fixed Income Organization. The analyst partners closely with peers throughout Fixed income to build organizational capabilities.

Completed the hirevue around 3 weeks ago, recruiter and hirevue email said final rounds would be scheduled in the next two weeks after October 10th, but I still haven’t heard anything and the recruiter didn’t respond when I tried to follow up. Just wondering if anyone else has heard back
