Rates Environment for Special Situations

How do you feel about the rates environment as a headwind for credit going forward, in particular for special sits / opportunistic credit?

Am interested both in the next couple of years and the more long term career view. Has there been a lot of hiring such that you would expect people to fire again once rates (and returns?) go down? Or do lower rates mean more LBO activity and therefore all good?
