Recruiting for Privat Credit Grad/AN1

Sup chooms,

I’m a European grad student with multiple internships in DCM, LevFin under my belt and most recently private credit with an upcoming off cycle at a big PC shop.

As PC/DL (and any other buy-side credit role for that matter) is relatively niche compared to PE, I wanted to ask if anyone has good insights into how grad / Analyst recruiting works for buy side credit in EU/UK. I ideally wanna convert my next internship to full-time but in case I can’t, I need a backup plan.

Are there any firms that are known for a grad intake program of some sort, or that actively recruit grads?

Are recruiters like Dartmouth a good approach?

Would love to hear your insights, also regarding Mezz or SS shops.

Cheers!

Most PC shops only hire through internships. The only one with a grad scheme that comes to mind is Park Square, but their applications are already closed for their 2026 class. I found this in another thread. You may have to do another internship if you don't convert:

-Barings (summer)

-Bain Credit (summer and offcycle)

-Blackstone (offcycle)

-Bridgepoint Credit (offcycle)

-Carlyle (offcycle)

-CVC Credit (summer and offcycle)

-MSIM (offcycle)

-GSAM (summer and offcycle)

-ICG (summer - SEO London)

-Oaktree (summer)

-Oak Hill (summer)

-Park Square (summer)

-Pemberton (summer)

-Tikehau (offycycle)

-GIC (summer)

Thanks mate, super helpful! I'm in a similar position to Euro-Clown and have 6+ months of private credit (Direct lending) experience at a MM fund. Currently looking for Summers in London. Was wondering if you know of any firms that would be open to cold-outreach for roles?

Pretty funny seeing this right after that one thread about “hyper-qualified European interns flooding the market.”
