Transition from Credit risk for Individuals at a BB

Hi everyone,  I work in a BB managing the credit risk for UHNI's who are primarily hedge fund principals. I have also ynderwritten various art secured deals, yacht and aircraft secured deals too.

However I find that this experience does not have much exit opportunities. I have ~1 yoe now doing this after my MBA. My friends from the CIB side in Credit risk at the same bank however work on models or maybe covering names under a particular industry, which i feel is a transferable skill.

Can anyone tell what sort of exits can I be aiming for? Canit open door to private credit funds or anything more interesting? Long term my aim is to get to portfolio management,  dont know how but just a wishful thing maybe.
