When does carry get allocated for a new fund
Joined a fund as the first junior employee that is just starting to raise a fund expected to close in the next ~6 months. At what point does carry get allocated? Cash comp is a bit below market given it’s a relatively small/new platform so I’m planning to ask for carry but not sure when the best time to do that would be. Any insight on this would be appreciated.
