Bitcoin price prediction for 2023

2022 allowed me to draw the following conclusions regarding cryptocurrencies:

πŸ‘‰ Bitcoin does not protect you against inflation.

πŸ‘‰ The cryptocurrency market is heavily influenced by margin positions.

πŸ‘‰ The market requires regulation to be protected from scammers’ bankruptcies.

What will happen in 2023? I've collected the top 20 predictions for 2023 from cryptocurrency market experts, and also added our own guess: http://bit.ly/41fco2M

I wish you successful trading in 2023!

Hi ATAS, no, I never sleep and so I can respond to any lonely threads (like this one) at all hours of the night. Impressive, I know ;-)

More suggestions...

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.

Bitcoin will survive but stay highly volatile until regulation & more money come in. Bitcoin is very highly correlated to the NASDAQ, and will continue to move with the risk-on equities. The potential for higher returns compared to a large portion of equities is high, but it depends on any person's time preference, the longer time preference = higher chance to come out in profit.

Bitcoin should reach all time highs again as soon as 2025. During 2023 I predict we will see jumps past 35k and many will sell to take a smaller loss and get out. Then there will be fomo after people get out too early and it will run up to the 40s potentially. I don’t see 50+ until mid 2024 and 60-100k maybe in 2025-26. Its market will be driven by behavioral psych and greed. Also once rates go back down (mid 2020s maybe) we will see more crypto activity.

Bitcoin will trade like a high beta stonk this year. If we get a hard landing we'll see $15,000 and perhaps $10,000.  If the Fed pivots before the job market gets fucked then Bitcoin could hang out in the $40,000 area.  The tail risks are all on the negative side of the distribution, regulation.  Those who tried to innovate on Bitcoin just jacked up fees and pissed everyone off, so I don't see Bitcoin experiencing any kind of renaissance that would send it past all time highs.
