Alterntative Valuation Methods
Hi,
In my internships I mostly used DCF, Comps and LBO analyses.
In university we also talked about the Dividend Dicsount Model and one other (I forgot the name).
I was wondering are there any other valuations methods, that are used in the industry?
Thanks
Ah, I know one that is quite popular but I don't know whether that method has a name: You buy a stock at, say, $10, then call up enough hedge fund buddies of you and convince them it's worth $30, then you sell that stock when they start buying.
