I have an interview coming up in 2 weeks with a equity research shop and they asked me to prepare a quick research report on Radio One (ROIA). Does someone have access to 4 or 5 of from different shops and send me over a bunch? It would be much appreciated.
Sorry man, it's $50mm mkt cap... I don't think there is anyone that covers them.
seeking alpha might have some good insight into the stock. the things you might want to include are: investment thesis (why would you (not) invest in the stock?) company description competitive landscape (what is happening in the industry, how are the company and its competitors positioned) risks f/s analysis (look into sales, gross margin, EBITDA margin, important trends in any line items) is it asymmetric investment? look at P/E, EV/EBITDA to see if they're fairly valued
if you don't have previous equity research experience, they won't expect something super. The above should be sufficient.
I know there are distressed debt guys that look at them, but don't know anyone that would cover their stock. Weird choice.
I'm sure that is exactly why it was chosen.
