BAML Research Analysts?
Maybe I'm just typing in the wrong google keywords or my eyes are totally missing the link for this...but where can I get a list of all the current research analysts at BAML, their bios, and their industry group? Can't seem to find it.
No such list exists--at least, not for outsiders. There is most likely an intra-company directory, as there are at many banks, with the entire list of analysts and associates broken up by industry group.
You'll have to do the leg work yourself on this one. It is possible, and I actually had a comprehensive directory built up, including many from BAML. However, it's been a long time since I had that information, so recovering it would be close to impossible. If you have access to Bloomberg, that would help, but either way you'll have to search for analysts individually.
Just out of curiosity, what type of things do you search for? Should I just search Google for something like "Bank of American research analyst"?
are you looking for equity research? if so, analysts are somewhat easier to find than their FI counterparts.
running a google search with different combination s of quotation mark placements might yield results, and I do recall stumbling upon a few this way. Also try conference call transcripts, available for free through a number of websites. Also, investor relations sections of publicly traded corporations usually list some of the more prominent analysts who follow the company, and occasionally this listing will include phone numbers.
I personally found Bloomberg to be indispensable, but if you don't have access then the abovementioned methods, along with any others you come up with, should be significantly helpful.
Yahoo Finance lists analysts by firm and the stocks they cover. I doubt its 100% accurate but it should be helpful.

thanks! yea was just looking around for the info. managed to get the list for a few other banks in the past so was just surprised when I ran into this.
