Biotech pay scaling?
How quick does biotech ER scale after x years on SS ER relative to other coverage groups?
Any color would be great I’m seeing numbers everywhere.

Bump
double bump
150k-200k to start
Biggest jump comes when you start getting coverage, probably around 400-750k all-in at major banks and depending on leverage you have. This is probably 2-4 years at most shops, more at a place like GS and less at a place like Leerink. It really depends on when the bank thinks you're ready and the nature of supply/demand for analysts at that bank.
$1 MM+ for franchise analysts. Upper limit is ~$8 MM/year is the far end of the tail. Probably takes 6-10 years to get there, depending on the bank.
You’re saying GS and other BB’s it takes longer to pick up coverage?
