Boutique ER + BB Finance SA => FT BB ER?

A little bit of background: Currently a junior at a non target Currently doing an internship in the equity research group at local boutique, this summer I will be interning in the Finance division at BB(MS/GS) in NY

Networked hard and went through IBD SA recruiting at a couple of BB's with no offer. My question is, with internal networking over the summer, will it be possible to move into the equity research group for full time? I know it is nearly impossible to do so for IBD at a BB without prior banking experience.

I would love to hear about any experience you guys have in making a similar transition, or any advice on what I should learn to make sure I am prepared for any possible informational interviews
