Case-Study Assignment Take Home

I’m in the final stage for an ER associate role at a bulge bracket and I am required to complete a take home case-study assignment over the weekend. I was informed that the assignment itself would require approximately 2 hours, but it won’t be timed and that I would have the entire weekend to complete it. I am also allowed to use the internet and AI tools. 

Anybody have any experience with such assignments? I’ve already completed a modelling/writing test (which was a basic three statement model requiring me to fill in a few blanks and answer accompanying questions based on the model) so I’m unsure what this case study assignment could be. 

Does anyone have an idea as to what this case-study assignment could potentially be about? Also, any tips/ideas/recommendations on how to prepare for this would be great!
