CFA study partner

I’m a rising junior taking the CFA Level one this fall, and I was advised by a mentor to study with someone who is taking the exam as well. I don’t know of anyone who is also taking the exam, so I am looking for anyone who may also be taking the exam to bounce ideas off of and to study from time to time. Thanks.

Based on previous WSO threads, finding a study partner for the CFA exam can be highly beneficial. Here are some steps you can take to find a study partner:

  1. WSO Forums: Utilize the Wall Street Oasis forums to connect with other candidates. You can start a discussion or join existing threads where other candidates might be looking for study partners.

  2. Local CFA Societies: Reach out to your local CFA society. They often have study groups or can connect you with other candidates in your area.

  3. Social Media and Networking Sites: Platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Reddit have groups dedicated to CFA candidates. Joining these groups can help you find someone with a similar study schedule.

  4. University Networks: Since you are a rising junior, check with your university’s finance or investment clubs. They might have members who are also preparing for the CFA exam.

  5. Online Study Groups: Websites like Reddit’s r/CFA or other finance-related forums often have threads where candidates look for study partners.

Good luck with your studies and the upcoming exam!
