Hi all, I am trying to get into ER position from a non finance company (but from the related industry). I applied to a position in Credit Suisse NY and already had a first phone interview. It was 30 mins, went pretty smooth and was told the next step would be to arrange a call with the MD of the team, but I wasn't provided with a timeline.
Based on your experience what is your opinion on how long should I wait for an answer before confirming I didn't pass?

In my experience, I got an invite a couple days later. When you said "was told the next step" do you mean the interviewer mentioned it or you asked for this information? Sometimes interviewers tell you what the next steps are as information but you don't move on. Good luck! I'd say wait a week and a half before emailing. Sometimes HR is slow.
Yes, she told me without asking the question and she was not an HR but a VP of ER management.
