Do I need to build my own model for the first round intervew?

Going to have a phone interview with an MD in Raymond James. I know stock pitch is a big part, but not sure if I should build my own model now to support my pitch...maybe its to late...PLEASE ADVISE! Thanks!

I mean, you should model out future earnings to have numbers to back up your argument. You should also have a decent overview of the industry and have some basic comps.

But it's not like you're going to send an email to this guy with a three-statement model.
