Don't Really Like ER!

I recently started a job at an independent sell-side firm.....I've come to realize that I'm much less interested in the number crunching, projections, etc....than the underlying businesses....

I really want to get into strategy consulting or corporate development...something with more of a focus on product development, etc...

What should I do?

Try talking to the contacts you've made in the industry? I don't know. Sorry you hate it =/

leverage ur financial skill set into those opportunities.. if the firm has a big name, you should get some looks. otherwise, you may have to pound the pavement quite a bit to get someone to talk to you / invite you to an interview.

------------ I'm making it up as I go along.
