Equity Research Associate (MS) - Writing & Modeling Test

Hi all, I'm currently in sell-side M&A and interviewing for an ER role at MS, which I'm super excited about. I studied science in undergrad and somewhat randomly found my way into finance, but have quickly learned that banking is not for me and my skillset / interests are much more relevant for a public markets & research-adjacent role.

I've already spoken to the team leads and have interviews set up with the department heads, but the last step (and probably the last / most technical bar I need to clear) is a modeling / writing test. Has anyone here gone through the interviewing process for something like this / do you know what to expect? Any insight (and pointers toward ways to practice) would be great. I've got one week to prepare and want to make sure I've covered all my bases and have everything down pat, as this is kinda my dream job & in a sector of real interest to me. Thanks so much in advance!
