Equity Research/ Sales and Trading recruiting process

I am a non target student. I have been cold calling and emailing every non BB firm in NY for ER and ST positions. I have a few interviews set up after I graduate, but nothing solid outside of that. Am I running out of time to land an offer?

I was in the same boat. I sent probably 3-5 cold emails every day my entire senior year, looking for a research position. About 3 weeks before graduation I got offered 2 unpaid internships and took one at a small sell side shop in NY but is growing in reputation. Although I didn't, if you are getting desperate, I would say in your email that you are willing to work unpaid (if you are, of course). I am not seeing many posted opportunities for ER right now, so I would strongly consider either looking for a good entry point that isn't directly ER (like credit research or even portfolio management associate type positions) and your way into it.
