Could anybody here kindly recommend some quality training courses in equity research to me? Thanks a lot!

WSP or biws
CFA, you learn a bit and you can put it on your resume.
The WSP courses aren't really designed to teach equity research. They do show you how to model but those courses use existing ER reports as inputs to the model and don't even touch how to generate those reports.
Best bet? Get the CFA. It will both teach the technical skills and make you vastly more marketable.
I am assuming the OP meant an ER Course which would imply a shorter time frame than the CFA which takes at least 1.5years to complete and so far as I know from employees and employers, that only completing the CFA matters, clearing level 1 or 2 do not mean anything other than showing your intent to complete it (yes in the long run the CFA will be worth it for ER and/or AM), additionally an ER course would not be complete without modelling
and as for report generation the CFA goes into that in the level 2 of the curriculum (I have read the 2014 Level 1 and some parts of Level 2) in readings of Volume 4 ( so as a shortcut one could read Vol 4 Level 2 along with the FRA volumes of level 1 & 2) but all the analysis being put into a report can be learned by looking at ER Reports and by learning how to do the modelling work (provided you know how to collect the data), something that is covered to enough of an extent by the WSP type courses since they point out how to go through the filings as well
as for having a specific part for the ER report generation the BIWS course definitely has it, I am not too sure about WSP but I have seen the free tutorials and read the descriptions of their courses so it will do the job as well,... another way to learn how to write reports (gather data, the required mind-set for an ER analyst) would be to look at

or participate in the CFA GIRC, NYSSA IRC, ROTMAN ERC, Equity Research competitions
so in the long run the CFA is your best bet and for the short term along with modelling, the WSP or BIWS will do, for an almost hands-on experience the ER Competitions should be good enough to get someone started
