Equity Research/Stock Pitching Books

I'm an incoming summer associate at a BB  and would love recommendations on books about equity research, picking stocks, how to analyze and pitch stocks, etc. I will also have a project at the end of the internship where I pitch a stock and want to be on par.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some highly recommended books for equity research, stock picking, and pitching:

  1. Security Analysis by Benjamin Graham and David Dodd
  2. Damodaran on Valuation by Aswath Damodaran
  3. Margin of Safety by Seth Klarman
  4. Irrational Exuberance by Robert J. Shiller
  5. One Up on Wall Street by Peter Lynch

These books cover various investment philosophies and provide a solid foundation for understanding equity research and stock analysis. They will be particularly useful for your project at the end of your internship where you need to pitch a stock.
