ER associate bonus is so low
It almost feels like a corporate job with long hours. My friends on Main Street have annual bonus around 30%, let alone Tech where people may receive 100% considering RSU.
ER ROI is so low unless you become an analyst. But then even much longer hours and higher stress.
Okay... So don't do it?
But also who tf on Main Street is getting a 30% bonus? (assuming entry level juniors)
Yes ER comp is not the absolute best ROI but it's still better than any main street job I'm aware of. Speaking from a London perspective.
Are you seriously comparing ER to tech? Before you get to the fact that they are completely different jobs, have you seen the tech job market? Have you seen the value of the RSUs? This post isn’t very useful.
Let's face it: how many posts on this forum ARE helpful?
