Hi,

I am currently completing my MSc thesis and was initially going to write about the following topic, but instead I went for an M&A related topic:

Identifying under/over valued securities by deconstructing the fundamentals

Description: Two of the most commonly used ratios – P/E and B/M can be shown to be a function of cost of equity, growth rate, and return on equity and payout ratio. This project involves testing how well the fundamentals explain the cross-sectional variation in these ratios and then goes on to test whether the variation between predicted and actual values can be used to identify under/over-valued securities.
