From Transaction Services to Equity Research?....

Hi everyone,

I am 28 years old and currently work as a senior consultant within transaction services at a big 4 in Scandinavian, where I have been for the last 3 years. Before this I worked in audit for about 4 years, before I wanted to try something a bit more fun ;-) Besides this I have a master degree in business economics and auditing from a well-respected University in Scandinavia and a pretty good GPA.

However, in the last couple of months my interest in moving from into Equity Research have increased a lot, I love the financial markets, I love analysing companies, I like accounting and all the skills a good equity research analyst need to possess.

My idea is to see whether I can break into one of the investment banks in the City of London…. What do you guys and girls think my chances are? and what to you recommend that I do?
