Goldman Sachs Internship experiences and offers?

Hello WSO,

I'm starting a summer internship at GS within the research division shortly. I was wondering if anyone had experiences to share? Specifically, how long it took to receive a follow-up offer.

Thanks!

Work as hard as you can and think outside of the box to be an outstanding research analyst. You need to crush it hard and understand the industry you're covering. There's opportunity to be a solid star if you take your job seriously. My boss did that at Bear Stearns, became a legend and now runs his own hedge fund.

Work really hard, really really hard. I knew a few people who was there, they worked extremely hard but got dinged anyways. Network, make sure not only your own boss knows you but the whole floor does. If I am not wrong ER in GS is only 2-3 floors, so network with them . And follow up offer is given on the last day during your full end of summer review.
