GS Off-Cycle GIR

Hey everyone,

I’m interviewing for an off-cycle Investment Research role at Goldman Sachs (6–12 months, full-time) starting in June.

From September, I’ll have a fixed university commitment one weekday per week. I can arrange my lectures into that day, but I’ll still be fully online, attend all meetings, remain fully responsive, and I’m happy to flex hours outside that day if needed.

Would a team typically be open to this kind of arrangement, or would it be seen as a red flag for off-cycle interns?

Would really appreciate any advice.

Thank you
