Hi! Interview for Research Associate position

Hi! I wanted to ask what kind of technical or behavioral questions would likely come up for an Emerging Markets Corporate Debt  - Research Analyst position first round interview.

Here is a little bit about the job:

The analyst will cover all EM regions, including Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with and support senior analysts throughout their investment process;
  • Perform in-depth fundamental due diligence of corporates located in emerging markets;
  • Build, maintain, and enhance robust financial and valuation models;
  • Distill complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for the investment team;
  • Produce concise, high quality research notes and synthesize data to highlight key investment themes, events and market developments;
  • Proactively source potential new investment opportunities through internal screening tools, industry research, conferences, and other relevant channels; and
  • Present analysis in team meetings, incorporate feedback, and continuously enhance presentation effectiveness.
