How's Bernstein's reputation compared to BB/EB
I understand that it would be dependent on sector/analyst but in general how's Sanford Bernstein's reputation vs. BB/EB?

In my sector the Bernstein analyst is highly regarded and great a great conference and NDR lineup.

I don’t know specifically but I haven’t heard of anyone leaving there over comp.
A mentor of mine worked there, Comps in line with BB/EB if things haven't changed on both ends. Very well respected, personally I would go Bernstein for Sellside over any other research shop. Person responsible for associate class is toxic tho

So, unlike most other firms, all of Bernstein's analysts were industry experts at some point, so they view things slightly different than typical equity analysts, which give some edge an edge, and it's more of a personal narrative, but most buy-side people I met (those who read sell-side research) prefer Bernstein's over others. Probably Evercore ISI, JPM, Jefferies are the only firms I would consider on the same level. I can tell a little more about it on PM, so hit me up.
