This is for an ER associate position? The research they put out is very "science" focused as any good biotech analyst should be doing. I talked with them a while back and know someone that works there. They have several different company arms that do various things. The CEO is close with a respected Biotech fund (~$3bn) and sounds like they do work not infrequently together.
Agains, with ER it all depends on who your Analyst is. That should be your first indicator, then the rest of the team and how well you vibe.
Did a first round with 2 associates/VPs, went well and they said they would follow up, but nothing ever happened since then. Have done several ER interviews since then, happy to chat about that in PM if you would like.
