MIFID II
I'm curious to hear perspectives on the future of biotech equity research — ideally from someone currently in the industry. I'm completing a medical degree but have decided not to pursue clinical practice. Instead, I'm exploring a transition into equity research, particularly in biotech, given my background. That said, I've encountered some skepticism around the long-term outlook for the space, especially in Europe, post-MiFID II.
Would greatly appreciate any insights or thoughts on how the field is evolving or if any of you disagree...
