Minors: What should I do?

Hey all, I am going to be a sophomore at a non-target (as my post history can tell) school with a Finance major, very interested in equity research which is why I'm posting here. My GPA is a bit low (3.3), but right now I am grappling with the question of minors. I can do a Math/Econ double minor, either one of them by themselves and probably have a higher GPA, or double major in Finance and one of them with extra stress. Based on your experiences in equity research or in finance general, what would you recommend I do? I've heard a lot of arguments for a subject like math, but I'm nervous people will discount me for being too quanty?
