Networking During My Internship

Ignore title. I'm currently interning at a LO w/ circa 100B in AUM and have already figured out that I don't want to return (not a huge fan of the culture and investment style doesn't fit.) I am a rising Junior but don't have anything lined up for next summer. When it comes to networking, how bad of an idea is it to send emails from my work issued BBG email? My assumption is that it's a terrible idea but it also seems like the highest signal way to reach out to analysts/PM's at SM/MM funds. Would love to hear peoples thoughts.
