Regular Stock Pitches - Help

Hey guys.

So i have been tasked to pitch stocks every week from now on (in oral and written form, with 3 investments thesis and valuations, implying that I will be questioned thoroughly).

While this might be the norm for most ppl here, I would just like to ask the general crowd on

  • Thought processes and how to go about this. If I were to do this, I would enter eqs on bloomberg, go macro then industry, explain how it would fit into our portfolio etc etc. However, I would appreciate any other inputs

  • Won't you run out of stocks after a while? I mean, there are tons of stocks, but good industries to choose from today, and to then zone down to that few stocks would be difficult, considering I do this every week. (I cannot afford chooing lousy stock picks which I cannot even justify to myself. I want to get the most out of this, rather than going through the same motion)

  • The question will come where i will have to explain why i chose counter A over counter B, implying that i would have to do research on both companies. while this is extra activity, it can be time wasting. So based on your experiences, how long do yall take to complete this enriching weekly tasks!

  • any other comments that you would like to add?

Thanks!
