RIP HSBC ER
Somewhat surprised no one is mentioning this but HSBC seems to have basically decimated their ER divisions outside of Asia, in line with the earlier reports that they were getting rid of most of their IB activities in UK/US.
More out of work ER analysts and no one is hiring...

You are surprised that nobody discusses HSBC ER on here? I did not even know they had a research franchise to begin with. Why is this surprising.
I guess I didn't realise their US presence was so much smaller than their European one
