Switching Sectors Mid-Interview

Currently going through the interview process for an ER role at a MM bank. I'm somewhat interested in the sector for which I'm being considered, but I recently came across a job posting for an ER position at the same firm covering a different sector, one in which I'd be much more interested.

How should I go about handling this situation? Is this a topic I should broach with the analyst who conducted the first-round interview, or something that should be left till after I receive the offer (if I receive an offer, of course)? As I proceed with the interview process, I'm afraid my discussions will be with more senior team members covering this particular sector, and I therefore won't interface with analysts and MDs from the other, more interesting sector.

Thanks in advance for your input.
