Value Investor Group on WSO

Hey everyone,

I was hoping to network with any value-oriented investors on this site. My goal is to gather a bunch of investors together and bounce ideas off one another. If the group is successful and grows close, I would also like to start a fund some years down the road. I want this to be a very profitable learning experience.

A little about me:

I have been investing a small personal account since sophomore year (I'm a junior now). I've evolved from investing purely on quantitative screeners (p/b, p/e, etc.), to analyzing business drivers and management/BOD intentions. I classify my style as deep value event-driven. Because of the size of my account I typically invest in micro-caps.

As for work experience, I was lucky enough to intern at a small long/short fund last summer run by a talented PM (he was a finalist in a SumZero contest), and I coached tennis for a summer camp a couple years back.
